In the minutes, which can be viewed below, you will find, among other things:

• Introduction to the Specific Security Plan (PPMS) i.e. the action plan describing how to react in the event of a major risk or threat within the LFP premises;
• An assessment of the PPMS simulation exercises. These exercises enable students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 and staff to learn how to react collectively, and prepare everyone to take responsibility for their own safety and that of others.
• Its ongoing training process, including first-aid training for students.

You’ll also find out why parents have to wait in the courtyard when primary school children are dismissed after their classes.

The APE is already getting ready for the great end-of-year party - the Kermesse. The event will take place on Saturday June 21, 2025 in the schoolyard, so mark your calendars! It’s an essential event that brings everyone together for an afternoon of fun and games.

A number of items were on the agenda, including :

• Presentation of school fees for 2025-2026
• A preview of school trips for the 2nd half of 2024-2025
• An update on projected construction work in 2025
• Adoption of the 2025-2026 school calendar and exam schedule

The school board meeting was preceded by two meetings with the school management and parent representatives. The most discussed item was the increase in school fees. You can see the different minutes below.

The Parents’ Association organized its second Parents’ Café. There, we all enjoyed a pleasant get-together with LFP parents as well as with the members of the association.

Lucia Pirovano, Vice President of the APE, took the floor and opened the event with a few words about our team. She also thanked the elected members of the School Council and School Board for their time, work and energy in representing parents’ interests.

She also focused on an event that will be taking place in the near future: the kermesse. The latter will be held on June 21, and will require a large number of motivated volunteers both before and on the day.

In the minutes below, you will find the meetings scheduled between now and the end of the year:

• on 25 March at 5.45pm, presentation of the 6ème class to CM2 parents in the presence of Czech interpreters;
• In April, presentation of cycle 3 and the International Section to CE2 parents;
• in June, presentation of CP and the main changes and expectations to parents of children in Grande section.
  There will also be swimming sessions for CP, CE1 and CM1 from 2 April.

The photos will be taken between 11 and 13 November 2024 for kindergarten, primary, middle (“college”) and high school (lycée) classes.

• Kindergarten and primary school children will have a class photo and an individual photo.

• For CI Bilingue, collège and lycée there will be: a classic class photo and a "fun" class photo.

Big smiles for everybody!

Over coffee and pastries, Marie Rahache, the association’s president, introduced her entire team. She also briefly outlined the association’s main missions and objectives for the near future. Among the latter, she emphasised parent representation on the School Council and the School Board.

It was a pleasure to share this moment with you!

From 3 September : resumption of extracurricular activities offered by the APE´s Sports and Culture club

From 3 to 15 September : daycare and "leisure and games" slots only.

REGISTRATION from Monday 26 August at 7pm.

From 16 September to 30 June : a varied programme of activities (sports, arts, homework tutoring, etc.).

On Thursday 5 September at 5pm an Activities Forum will be held, where you can find out all about what the CSC has to offer for 2024-25 and meet the people involved. See the event.

You will receive further information by email a few days before the start of the school year.

The following points were discussed at the General Meeting:

• Report on projects for 2023/2024: extracurricular activities and leisure centre; events (Talent show, fair) and other projects (class photos, sweatshirt sales, etc.);
• Financial review for 2023/2024
• Update on name change and new website
• Information on remuneration
• Challenges for 2024/2025
• Election of the new office

We have two new members on the Board, Virginie Lenek and Lena Baude!

As a result, from the start of the new academic year, the Board for 2024-2025 will be as follows:

We would like to take this opportunity to extend our warmest thanks to Clémence Chesnel, who has contributed to the association’s development over the last 2 years and has managed events such as the fair, the talent show and the sale of LFP sweatshirts.

At the end of the meeting, we shared a convivial moment over coffee.
